VOID Interactive’s tense tactical shooter Ready or Not has rolled out a fresh update for September 2025, bringing a stack of fixes and refinements to every platform where the game operates. The patch is live now on PC and consoles, smoothing out rough spots that players have flagged since the summer content drop.
Sharpening the Tactical Edge
The developers focused on stability and gameplay polish this cycle. Players had reported intermittent crashes during high-intensity co-op missions, and this update aims squarely at those issues. Memory leaks and desync bugs—particularly noticeable when stacking teams of five—are listed as addressed.
Weapon handling sees subtle tuning as well. Recoil patterns for several rifles have been standardized to match their real-world counterparts, and a lingering bug that caused weapon lights to flicker during breaching scenarios has been fixed.
Quality-of-Life Upgrades
UI navigation has been tightened for controller users, making menu movement and inventory management less clunky. Cross-platform voice chat also receives an upgrade, promising clearer comms for squads mixing PC and console operators.
Looking Ahead
VOID Interactive notes that this update is part of a broader push toward the next major content release, which is still under wraps but teased for late fall. They’ve asked players to keep sending bug reports as they refine the game’s balance and performance.
The September patch is available now as an automatic download across Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Squad up, update, and hit those hostage rescues with a smoother ride.
